Overwhelmed?

The are times in life where your days are bombarded with mess. Mess that you don’t even know its origin. All you know is that at this place, time and moment you are in a mess. It sometimes feels like you are drowning and the light is getting dimmer and your breath is on hold. You are sitting, reading this wondering how the heck is this going to help me?

Then you sit. In your chair or on your floor. Turn your cell phone to silence for a moment. And for this moment you listen to this… ALL you do is listen.

While you hear this, allow yourself to imagine you swimming up. Allowing yourself to see the light getting stronger, swim up from the water and when surface up and breath. To allow yourself to cry if need be and drink some water, knowing that today is today only once and you will be then able to Continue breathing…Continue walking…Continue being.  That you can take it one moment at a time. Breath, in through your nose… out through your mouth. Breath.

Allow yourself a moment to relax, focus on the fact that you are ok, alive and breathing. You will go on with your day and make the best of what you have.

This is what helped me today. I hope it helped you.

You never know what others are going through. What kind of pain people go through, physically or emotionally. But what I can tell you, is that time heals all. Time will always be…it is you that has to make it a point to have time for yourself. Take a moment and enjoy breathing.

South Beach Model Latina: Healthy Competition

South Beach is already one of my top favorite destinations I enjoy going to. It is like Beverly Hills for Latinos I think. Everywhere you go, you see hot men and women looking their best and enjoying the sun. So the fact that Latina Model was shot in South Beach makes much sense to me. Where else can you see Hot Latinas walking around in bathing suits in the city and have it be normal?
This year’s Model Latina will bring some healthy competition.
The ten hot contestants will be in their own competition. Having a friendly competition… it is never bad, I think. Not only will the Model Latina girls be competing with one another, the girls will also be defiantly competing for my attention. This year, the show was very kind and thought of giving us ladies some eye candy with Carlos Ponce!
I repeat myself, this year I believe the girls will be in some friendly competition with the host. Meet Model Latina South Beach‘s sexy Inner Circle of Cool: Carlos Ponce, Ines Rivero, Franco Lacosta andJocelyn Pierce. Ooooh child! Defiantly sometime I am looking forward in watching.
So Tonight when you are “winding down” from all the weekend fun you have had this Memorial Weekend. Wind it back up and watch and of course enjoy your evening with nuvoTV’s new hot show Model Latina South Beach.
Here is a glimpse of what you will see… it is so good, I can’t wait for you to see it HERE!
Then, after you watch, follow them on Twitter and Facebook to stay on top of what everyone is saying about the show… I can’t wait to get your response and tell me what you think!
Keep it hot and Smile (if you want),

To Do List: Jes & Congress

Granted, My to do List is WAY smaller than the President’s To Do list for Congress. Moreover, I like how he is modeling to both Congress and the people on how to remain organized, have goals and Keep working on bettering us.  Kudos President Obama!

My To Do List:

Yes… He Has me Beat, He is Commander and Chief.  However, this does not mean that what you or I place on our to do list is any less or Better than His (well… unless it is all bad want to hurt people stuff, then you are not cool in my book).

Keep up the good work with your List! AND Make it happen!

I’m Looking for a new Chair for my Living room, well, more like two of them. I went to Restoration Hardware with my friend this weekend and I feel IN LOVE with this Wing Chair! I mean, I sat on this soft and comfortable chair and I felt like I was back in my mother’s womb. So calming. I even though I would buy one to place it in my future Psych Office for my clients…then I quickly became selfish and said, yeah…I think I would enjoy it too. Ha ha. If you are looking for a wing chair…here you go!

Mammography: #Mammogram

I am having a Mammogram done next week. I’m having a rule out check up, (when health care peeps suspect something and do a procedure to find out if its positive (you have) or negative (you don’t have)) a foreign something in my Body.

I’ve been asking about how mammograms go and I’ve been hearing all sorts of stories about how the mammograms are conducted. Some stories didn’t sound right… Most stories are weird stories…your chest being pushed and smugged? LOL wow… So I guess I shall find out for myself.

Once I get my Mammogram I will tell you my story about Mammograms. Moreover, why don’t you take a look at What is a Mammogram? I think as Women and Men, it is important to get checked, even is there is a small minimal doubt that something may be wrong. Getting checked and knowing is better than it being too late.

Personally, I have a family history of Breast issues with my tissue and my docs found something in me. So now I have to get checked out. Oh the joy of DNA.

This is nothing to be afraid of… it is just a check up. I will tell you my story once I know.

Presidential Medal of Freedom

“Last week, the President named thirteen recipients of the Presidential Medal of Freedom including Dolores Huerta, a civil rights leader and advocate for workers, women, and Latinos. With Cesar Chavez, Huerta co-founded the National Farmworkers Association in 1962, which later became the United Farm Workers of America. Huerta will be honored alongside other recipients at the White House later this spring.”
