Washington D.C., November 9, 2010— Latina Style Magazine, the premier magazine addressing the needs of established Latina & Women entrepreneurs in the U.S., is excited to be celebrating the finale of 2010 tour with our 12th Annual LATINA Style Business Series in Los Angeles on November 18th, 2010 from 7:30am to 4:30pm at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel Located at 2025 Avenue of the Stars, Los Angeles, CA 90067.
In 1998, a strong-minded Latina, the late Anna Maria, set out to provide Latina professionals and business owners with the tools to strive in the ever-changing business community. The end result: the LATINA Style Business Series. This one day conference consists of interactive panels and workshops held by renowned experts from key corporations and government agencies. These workshops are led by some of the most talented local business leaders who share inspiring, first-hand accounts of their business success. Mabel Katz, will be providing welcoming remarks during the Breakfast Ceremony. Ms. Katz is an internationally acclaimed speaker, seminar leader and consultant. She has applied her knowledge, insights, experience, and skills to assisting businesses and individuals in becoming more productive, effective and prosperous. Also, celebrating will be Marie Therese Dominquez, Vice President, Government Relations and Public Policy, United States Postal Service, presenting the Julia de Burgos stamp to Robert Bard during the Breakfast Opening Remarks.
The Luncheon Keynote Address will be delivered by Nely Galán, President & CEO, Galan Entertainment, founded in 1994. Ms. Galán is a former President of the powerhouse Telemundo network and has owned and operated her own media company, which has launched 10 groundbreaking television channels in Latin America, and produced a staggering 600 episodes of programming that cross all genres, since 1994. Rodri J Rodriguez will serve as Luncheon Featured Speaker. Ms. Rodriguez is President and CEO of Rodri Entertainment Inc., an international entertainment production company, founded in 1976. Her presence has been felt in the entertainment arena since 1975 when she played a key role in the decision to have the Latin Category added to the Grammy Awards. General Manager of Mun2, Diana Mogollon will be presenting as the Mistress of Ceremonies during the Awards Ceremony.

Ms. Enciso has been selected for her 30 years of commitment in successfully running a Latina owned business. The “Look Successful…Be Successful” Fashion Show Presented by Macy’s, Inc. will be co-hosted by Fashion Designer Nick Verreos of Project Runway and the outstanding Mun2 host Yarel Ramos. Mr. Verreos appeared on Project Runway and is now a red carpet fashion expert on E! Entertainment, TV Guide Network and SoapNet. Ms. Ramos is the host of “Reventon, Reventon Countdown”, and “What Up PPL” on Mun2.
